Feeling good

Here is some positive music to start off a great long weekend here down-under

“Feeling Good”
Michael Buble

Birds flying high
You know how I feel
Sun in the sky
You know how I feel
Breeze driftin’ on by
You know how I feel
It’s a new dawn
It’s a new day
It’s a new life
For meAnd I’m feeling good
I’m feeling good
.
.
Fish in the sea
You know how I feel
River running free
You know how I feel
Blossom on a tree
You know how I feel
It’s a new dawn
It’s a new day
It’s a new life
For me
And I’m feeling good
.
Dragonfly out in the sun you know what I mean, don’t you know
Butterflies all havin’ fun you know what I mean
Sleep in peace when day is done
That’s what I mean
And this old world is a new world
And a bold world
For meFor me

Stars when you shine
You know how I feel
Scent of the pine
You know how I feel
Oh freedom is mine
And I know how I feel
It’s a new dawn
It’s a new day
It’s a new life

It’s a new dawn
It’s a new day
It’s a new life

It’s a new dawn
It’s a new day
It’s a new life
It’s a new life
For me

And I’m feeling good

I’m feeling good
I feel so good
I feel so good

‘Almost Spring’ was born in autumn – I think now I was being very positive projecting that it was ‘almost spring’ before winter had even started! ……….

HOWEVER, having recently returned from four weeks of a UK winter where there is no dawn (as the sun is never seen and it is just grey all the time), I do now concede that it is MUCH easier to feel positive in an Australian winter when the skies are still blue, the trees still green and there are ten hours of daylight each day.

BUT come on now ………… you will have to admit that even in the dead of winter Michael Buble’s positive mood is somewhat contagious ……. and he IS Canadian after all πŸ™‚

      • LOL – I’m lucky to be far enough south that winter weeks are peppered with a gorgeous springlike day every now and then. Yesterday it did seem like it was almost spring. I cold go for a bit more daylight though.

  1. I love how this song expresses how feeling good is feeling connected. When my individual life was causing me distress, I also knew that the bigger picture with all its beauty was mine, and that knowledge was always a comfort and an inspiration. Being a citizen of the universe has its advantages.

  2. Ha ha – random click & I got this on THIS long weekend in sunny Australia : March 10 today.

Cheers, Elizabeth – choice music πŸ™‚

    • Hello. yes, great pick-me-up song. Can’t help but feel great, the way he sings it.

I am just across the water from you, here is sunny Tasmania, after a very HOT long weekend. πŸ™‚
